David Fleming

Overview

David heads our Family Law Department of Cunningham Adam and is one of the partners of the firm. He joined the firm in 1994 after being admitted as a practicing solicitor. David is able to practice in the Local, District, and Supreme Courts as well as the High Court of Australia.

He has been a part of the Cunningham Adam firm for over 27 years and is focused in the area of family law.

As David’s main area of focus is family law matters he has considerable experience in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia when dealing with divorce, property settlements and children’s matters. David also has experience in the Local Court for Traffic offences and other criminal offences.

He always offers assistance and practical legal advice to his clients in what may be a difficult and challenging time in their lives to achieve the best outcome possible. Supporting clients by providing straightforward advice that can be easily understood is David’s approach to handling your matter.

David is a former High School Teacher who taught in schools in the Newcastle and Lower Hunter area in both the Public and Private School systems for 10 years prior to commencing his legal career. David also taught in TAFE colleges and spent a short time teaching at the Hunter College of Advanced Education.

In his spare time David enjoys spending quality time with his wife and family. David has been an avid basketball player for over 50 years, loves travelling overseas and is an enthusiastic skier.
